Pieroth Pests! About two years ago, in 2013, I received mail at my home address from the Pieroth Wines Company. This mail offered me a free coffee mug; all I had to do was reply to the mail and provide my details. I provided my details, and returned the mail… I severely regret ever doing this!!! Over the past two years I have repeatedly been pestered by this company. I continuously get phone calls from company salespeople requesting to speak with me, visit my home, and to talk about their product range. For the first two or three phone calls I received I politely said I was not interested, and explained that the only reason I returned the original mail was simply to get the free coffee mug. It seems this message fell on deaf ears, because I continued to receive calls. For the proceeding calls that I received, I assertively stated to the salespeople my lack of interest in the Pieroth product and clearly demanded that my name be removed from their marketing list and that they do not contact me again. Just today, the 4th August 2015 I received yet another phone call from the Pieroth Company. When I heard the salesperson announce where she was from I almost fell off my chair. I could not believe what I was hearing…and I didn’t say anything, I just hung up the phone. Obviously this company does not take no for an answer. They are blatantly arrogant, and downright disrespectful in their approach to sales. So, I have decided to give a little back to the Pieroth Company. For the next 30 days I am going to spread the word as much as I can about my negative experience with this company. I will spread my story everywhere so as to warn others about the underhand and aggressive tactics that this company employs. My question to members of the public is this – if staff from the Pieroth Company act in this way, would you buy their product??
